Conference Details

We are excited to announce that the 2023 Circle of Harmony HIV/AIDS Wellness Conference will convene in-person at the Sandia Resort and Casino just north of Albuquerque, NM.

The theme for this year’s conference is “Cultivating Biomedical Practices to Advance Health Equity” in recognition of the national discussions on the Ending the HIV Epidemic initiative, and the National HIV/AIDS Strategy, with a focus on the Indigenous HIV/AIDS Syndemic Strategy and the shift to biomedical strategies to prevent HIV.

Registration

Registration fees to attend the Circle of Harmony HIV/AIDS Wellness Conference are as follows:

  • Early Bird Registration (through March 5, 2023) - $100
  • Regular Registration (March 6 – April 24, 2023) - $150
  • On-Site Registration (April 25 – 27, 2023) - $175
  • Arts and Crafts Vendor – $50
  • Non-profit Vendor – $100
  • For Profit Vendor – $200

The 2023 Circle of Harmony HIV/AIDS Wellness Conference will take place at the Sandia Resort and Casino just north of Albuquerque, NM.

You must submit a confirmed registration first to be able to make a hotel registration. Your confirmation email will include information to make a reservation at the hotel.

Hotel block ends April 10, 2023.

Rate: $209 per night.

The room rate is not inclusive of applicable state and local taxes (currently 12.4375%), or applicable service, or hotel specific fees in effect at the Hotel at the time of the conference.

AAIHB will not change reservations booked outside of our block to our group rates.

COVID-19 Policy

The Albuquerque Area Indian Health Board is committed to providing a safe environment for participants of the 2023 Circle of Harmony HIV/AIDS Wellness Conference. While not required, all participants are encouraged to be up-to-date on current COVID-19 vaccinations. All conference participants will be required to wear face masks at all conference activities at the Sandia Resort and Casino.

Face masks and COVID-19 rapid tests will be available at the conference registration desk.

Cancellation Policy

Written cancellations emailed on or before April 7, 2023, by 5:00 pm (MDT), will be honored in full, less a $50 processing fee. Hotel cancellations are the responsibility of the individual participant and must be made 48 hours prior to check-in date to avoid any charges and fees.

Refunds will NOT be issued for cancellations emailed after this date. Registration Cancellation requests may be emailed to COHinfo@aaihb.org.
