Bio: Ayn N. Whyte, M.S., Diné, is Tó’aheedlííníí, born for Kinyaa’anii. Her maternal grandfathers are Naasht’ézhí dine’é and paternal grandfathers are Naakai. This is how she identifies as a Diné woman. Ayn grew up in Crownpoint, NM with much of her childhood at her maternal grandmother, Christine Becenti’s homestead in Muholland Well, NM. She currently resides in Albuquerque, NM with her husband, Anthony Segura (Santee Dakota) and their four children, Kayne, Logan, Sawyer, and Hope. In 2003, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of New Mexico (UNM). A year later she returned to UNM and received a Master of Science degree in Community Health Education in 2006. She currently is the Executive Director at the Albuquerque Area Indian Health Board, Inc
